According to the news, a 69-year-old pastor is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old member of his church, who also belongs to the church choir. The pastor is accused of having six sexual encounters with the girl between July 2015 and April of this year. Police began their investigation after the girl's mother found a sexually explicit Facebook conversation between her daughter and the pastor. When the mother confronted her daughter, her daughter told her mother about the inappropriate relationship between her and the pastor. She said inappropriate touching and sexual intercourse were involved. In Denver, Logan County and across Colorado, the pastor would face charges of Sexual Assault on a Child by One in a Position of Trust, C.R.S. 18-3-405.3.
